Is there a list of wanted content for GWG?
Since the live server is open for scandinavians since April 1st, and ArenaNet has given people playing there the go for releasing screenshots and info for it during this three day period (no NDA issues there), do Guild Wars Guru have a list of wanted content for its knowledge base somewhere? Or any general guidelines of what I could try to screenshot or get other info for? Should I just look at missing info in this current KB and assume it's up to date and there's no content "lying around" that you already have available?
I remember there use to be a thread for this during the BWE's but couldn't find one now, and was just thinking I could use this "mini BWE" for something useful here.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to get any offers of help from testers who weren't involved with the site staff, so I didn't put anything up as to what we're looking for and have just been doings things myself.
Off the top of my head, I know that Saus wants to get map screenshots of the trainer locations in Pre-Searing Ascalon and the quests.

I'd definitely love to have that list of trainers and location (in pre-ascalon that is...).

I know there are quite a few people interested in screenshots of the murals of gods found throughout Pre-searing Ascalaon, as well as the statues and plaques. Basically anything you could find on the deities/lore would be great... Nice of someone to offer.

Hmm.. looks like i'll be setting off in search of Grenth's Lore, among other things.
That's a lot of nice pictures though, it looks like we'll be able to put up a pretty comprehensive 'Lore' area for the deities thanks to your work. It's been an interesting topic of discussion about the forums lately, so i'm sure people reading here appreciate it as much as we do.
It does give me a few ideas, though. Most of it will have to wait until after release, due to the rules for what is / isn't allowable content on fansites at the moment, but it might be interesting to go around gathering the various bits of in-game Lore to construct a timeline of sorts. (Providing they don't beat us to the punch with this one, in whatever they may include in the manual.)

That looks like OragneArrows stuff. Most of which we already have aor will have by the end of the weekend. There's a rather massive update to things going on behind the scenes around here, so I'm holding off on any new additions to the CMS until that's complete (Not out of, I assure you, laziness) but once I'm satisfied everythign's correct I'll probably slap it up in a post.
Although I'll probably have to clean up my notes some. For example :
Quote:
.The Supremacy of Air
Area- Foible's Fair
Description - 1) Travel to the Wizard's Tower where the Elementalist's Experiment quest is located. 2) Find and kill the Tower Golem (lv5 creature, Air does a lot of damage). 3) Talk to Elementalist Aziure, near the Tower, to complete the quest.
Given by - Ralena Stormbringer
Location - Foible's Fair
Requirements - Elemenatlist mastery / Complete Elemenatlist Experiment Quest / be an Elementalist
Reward - 250XP, Blinding Flash, Lightning Javelin
Text -
Elementalist Aziure has been trying squandering her time with her overly complicated magic rituals. I've been tryign to tell her forever that magic isn't about subtle trickery. A bolt of lightning that sears your enemy's flesh. That's magic. A glash of lightning that shocks your foe and blinds him too. That's magic. // You can help me prove it. There's a brute of a creature called the Tower Golem up the noad near the big tower. I'll give you a few spells that will help you fight it. I'd like you to destroy the Golem and then let Aziure know. // {Sounds like fun. = Yes} / {That doesn't sound like a good idea. = No} /// {Relena wanted me to tell you I destroyed the Tower Golem.} // Indeed you did. Doing so was no mean feat and shows that you have real promise. Nevertheless, I should warn you Ralena teaches a branch of magic that appeals to the reckless and the brash. As you mature as an Elementalist, I think you will find that there is a great deal of value to broadening your magical horizons. // Rewards / 250 Experience // {Accept} / {Decline}
Summary -
+Folow the road up to the wizard tower. Destroy the Tower Golem.
[Text]
Reward:
250 Experience

What we could really use are the screenshots relating to such quests. Especially ones that show locations and the like (Great work on that, Juggulator, btw). Pics of the quest dialog and quest logs would also be nice. Especially the "main" ones, the ones that lead up to getting into the Academy - the Sir Tydus, "Whatever" Test, Havesdan ones, basically.
And, of course, information on item mods, armor, skills (There are some new Ranger pet attacks I'd like to have info about), skill trainers, crafters, armor, and anything else you'd care to think of. The more info, the better, but no worries, just have fun. We appreciate anything you might gather and we'll certainly try to make use of it but anything you get us is a bonus.

Jugalator,
That's some quality work--thanks for the posts.
Spooky,
I think a "lore" section would be a great addition to the site. I, for one, enjoy the RPG aspects of the game, and the deeper you can get into the lore, the better.
Ciao,

Gaile has recently talked about a lot of juicy lore in the game manual, btw...
I also just explored the entire presearing Northern Wall area with Aelrik of AB and got some screenies for those who haven't seen it much.
1 2 3 4 no 5 6 (cool color change once you get close to a Charr flame altar) 7 8 9 (sunglasses on! :s) 10 11
Maybe you haven't seen the new item modifier coloring by the way...
mods1 mods2
Hmm... I'm thinking of any special "new stuff" in this BWE but can't come to think of much... They have some PvP char creation UI changes though... And they also added new hair (and skin) colors, as has been mentioned before:
UI1 UI2 UI3
(hey, women are the fairer sex... lol)
A change in the UI itself is the new gender symbol.
You asked for ranger skill info. I assume the new skills you mean are those in the new "Pet Attack" class. Here they are, I think it's all. All these have Beast Mastery as the attribute they depend on. I'll list how much each increase their "green" attribute per point in Beast Mastery next to the links.
Bestial Pounce
5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
Brutal Strike
same as above, for both dmg's
Disrupting Lunge
1 base dmg, 10 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. less than +1 dmg / point
Scavenger Strike
1st value: 5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
2nd value: 1 base dmg, 12 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. tiny bit less than +1 dmg/point
Predator's Pounce
1st value: 5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
2nd value: 5 base health, 41 health with 12 BM, i.e. +3 health / point
Melandru's Assault
5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
Maiming Strike
1st value: 5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
2nd value: 3 sec cripple, 13 with 12 BM, i.e. less than +1 dmg / point
Ferocious Strike
1st value: 5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
2nd value: 1 energy, 8 with 12 BM, i.e. less than +1 dmg / point
Feral Lunge
1st value: 5 base dmg, 17 dmg with 12 BM, i.e. +1 dmg / point
2nd value: 3 sec base bleeding, 21 sec with 12 BM
You can of course find mana cost and recast times in the images themselves. "base dmg" (for example) is the damage with 0 in Beast Mastery. Some of those screenies were taken with 1 point in BM so don't get confused by that. All these skills and their increasing amounts were simply checked in the PvP Char Creator with "unlock all skills" checked and playing with the attribute points.
Finally, please note I may not keep those screenshots on my web account for too long. Grab what you need!
OK, now I'm going to bed, hehe...

OK, last post before bed, hehe...
No problem, I like to be useful during a WPE for once!
Regarding the hair changes, I'm no expert at Monks but during the alpha (yes, I'm one of those testers ) I started feeling I was either suffering from memory loss or they made a lot of changes to them. :s Here's a most if not all of his styles, and didn't he used to have a lot horrible "half head shaved" styles? Unfortunately, the female Monk still has a lot of that going on; I don't like it.
I also included a weird new (at least I think so) male Necro style in VIOLET. lol
Here's my hair collage! (I didn't include other professions, didn't notice much change for males otherwise)
http://hem.bredband.net/b240685/gw/gwg/hair.jpg
I also almost forgot some pretty new loading screens
http://hem.bredband.net/b240685/gw/gwg/loading1.jpg
http://hem.bredband.net/b240685/gw/gwg/loading2.jpg
Before it gets old, you don't mind the loading times at all

Wow, Juggie, thank you! It was cool to see the collage of monk hairdos. If you have time tomorrow, could you grab some of the female ranger faces and 'dos also? Don't forget to sleep and eat, buddy!
Thanks again, Jug
